Parent Association (PAC)

PAC is the middle school version of a PTA or PTO.  The council meets throughout the year to discuss ideas in which we can support our students and teachers at Wilson Middle School.  Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month, with the exception of December and May, at 6:00 PM in our office conference room.  We invite all!

Why join PAC:

It’s good for your child - Research shows that children whose parents are involved in their school have higher grades, improved social skills, better behavior, and possess a more positive outlook towards their education (Diorio, 2019).

It’s important to the school - The PAC is responsible for almost all of the school’s fundraising revenue.  They provide support to teachers and administrators, and create a caring and supportive atmosphere in the school.

You’ll get connected - There is no better way to know what’s going on in the school than to be involved with PAC.  You’ll be first to hear about important decisions and changes the school is thinking about making, and you will get to know teachers and administrators on a familiar basis.

It’s fun - You’ll connect with a group of people who are all concerned with creating a better environment for their children.  You will plan fun events, socials, and get-togethers.

It’s flexible - There are a variety of small ways parents can help and be involved.  Project responsibilities are flexible and can be adjusted to fit with your time constraints.

If you are interested in being a part of our PAC, please feel free to contact Wilson's office at 717-240-6800, Ext. 19805.
